What is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate Marketing in a nutshell is basically you referring products for other companies and making a commission when someone makes a sale. Sound easy enough? Well the truth is its not that easy. Some people have had success with it but,im sure they also struggled in the beginning and have been doing it for years before they found the best way to do it.
What a lot of new affiliate marketers fail to realize in the beginning is. No one wants to be bombarded with a sales pitch. No one wants to constantly see buy this! Buy this! Who does no one does. People also don’t want to see 30 banners on there site selling them something that is not related.
The true art and beauty of affiliate marketing if there is such a thing is basically putting a product in front of people that need it. Putting a product or introdcing someone a product who wants it. Maybe someone needs some medicine to cure a disease! Maybe its cheap tickets to a Katy Perry concert that they want. Maybe you have cheap prices to the new iphone 8 .
So the key here is don’t think your selling something cause your not selling anything. The people and companies who gave you the referral link are doing the selling all you are doing is referring it.
So thats the key to it but,thats not all. Thats only half of the work the real work is finding the people that want the product you are promoting and put it in front of them, When you can do that your golden and you are officialy an affiliate marketer.
So think about how you can do that? How can you put these products in front of people that need them? How can you find out when someone is ready to buy something with there credit card in there hand at there laptop?Think about it and once you figure it out. Then affiliate marketing may be for you.
Affiliate may not be for every one.On the onset it looks like its hot and very lucrative but, it is also a lot of work.
You also have to expect to experience some downfalls and pitfalls along the way like. Having Amazon ban you or reject your account if you have not made a single sale in 6 months. You also should get ready to not make any money for 8 or 9 months and after the 9 months you will make your first dollar or twenty dollars.
Theres also a chance you could be a quick learner and start making cash fast in a few months so its all up to you. Theres no right or wrong way of doing it. So the key is you can go as far as you can. It all depends on how far you want to take it. Like with any job ,if you just show up and expect to get paid youll get fired. You have to put in the work. And you have to work hard and have a good work ethic to succeed at affiliate marketing.

ReplyDeleteKeep in mind you dont need a website to do affiliate marketing you can do it with social media,or in email,or ezine so just so you know if your on a budget and want to do it with no money you can without web host and domain etc.

ReplyDeletemd.ajajul haque You can do fine just selling ebooks if thats what you want to do only. I would recommend writing a book a month or writing 1 book every 4 months .Basically you'd spend maybe 1 month brainstorming your book after you decided on your niche. Then you spent 1 month writing the outline then you spent the next two months writing your book. Your aim or goal should be to write 1000 words a day in a month you'd have a 30,000 word novel. For some reason if you can only write 200 or 500 words a night it may take a little longer to write your book thats why i mentioned give yourself 2 months to write it. Hope i was able to help.
