The Email List
I see a lot of new bloggers and internet marketers or affiliate marketers make a lot of beginner mistakes.
Don’t let it be you!
One of the main ones is forcing someone to buy something in an email something you never used!
Forcing and Spamming someone a product you not actually never used yourself or never even researched it yourself is pretty much suicide!
Think about them not you
When people come to me for tips and advice I tell them. Do not ever think about making a quick sale to get rich quick or to just try and make a sale and to just promote anything cause that's wrong people will see through you and not trust you,and unsubscribe and never trust you and most of all never buy anything you promote or recommend.
Only deliver quality content
So this is why its beneficial to you to only think about creating quality content. And only recommend useful and insightful information to your subscribers.
Put yourself in there shoes
Just imagine for a minute if you never did your homework on some of these advertisements you were promoting and it turned out you were promoting some scam and people were getting ripped off by hundreds of thousands of dollars only so you could make $30 dollars profit.
Imagine how youd feel youd feel disappointed for one and once all of your subscribers and followers realized you were the one promoting this junk theyd think you were in on the scam.
Do not force anything on them
So take it from me. Do not force a sale in a email list. Do not just sell anything or promote anything because its a high percentage! Do not ever spam people. Actually do not even sell anything to them at all in your email list.
Insightful Content is where its at
The true thing to do in an email list is to provide useful information you would not find elsewhere in your niche.
Examples of what people could want
- For example “5 best ways to lose weight”
- “How to get rid of those love handles”
- ‘How to grow a beautiful lawn from scratch and fire the lawn care guy”
- How to satisfy your woman every time!
You get what im saying provide useful information to them and they will stick around eventually they will convert. So provide them with only useful info that is related to your niche and if you have a new product launch in the future let them know about it .
Do not sell every chance you get
Just remember selling them something in every email is not what an email list is about. Whenever I add my name to a list and I see that the first thing I do is unsubscribe.
So remember the last thing you want to do is offend anyone or annoy your subscribers.Your goal as a affiliate marketer or blogger is to provide useful information and when people find it useful they will return for more useful wow content.
Your purpose is not to fill your articles with hundreds of ads so people will click on them but,provide useful info and recommend a product that will help them solve there problem. Remember they saw your blog in a search then they clicked on your blog post because it can solve one of there problems.
So if you happen to also include a product they could use then great. Keep in mind a site filled with banners will have a high bounce rate .So give them great wow content and nothing else,just offer maybe 1 to 3 products they could benefit from and thats it.
Keep them around and coming back
So I cant stress enough how important it is to just provide useful information and once they see useful information in your emails and your blog articles they will subscribe and stick around.
