Content curation to increase your brand

A great way to grow your fan base,your youtube subscribers and your twitter followers is to use Content Curation. You may be saying what is content curating (those newbies out there) For those that do not know read this definition from google

Content curation is the process of sorting through the vast amounts of content on the web and presenting it in a meaningful and organized way around a specific theme. The work involves sifting, sorting, arranging, and publishing information.

   You may be saying how do I do it? Or I do not have the time! Chances are is if you can spend 2 to 3 hours a day on facebook and another few hours a day on twitter and instagram and snapchat then the truth is you have already been doing content curation.

Find the best articles on your niche

   The best way to implement it is to just find some related articles about your niche. These have to be ground breaking and noteworthy info and articles that no one knew about or it just be breaking.

So yes you have to be on top of news in your niche and once you  find something that has been curated for you. Share it with your followers so you they too have the info that is important to them.

You may be saying how? There are countless apps you can download on the app store or google play rather then you waste your time trying to find a cur-later for you. One app I really like by google is google alerts. You just go to https://www.google.com/alerts. Then type in any info you need and it will send an email a s soon as that keyword or alert pops up on google.

Once you have this info in your email  daily or a weekly digest. Make sure you stay on top of the content and  tweet and post regularly . Another thing I should point out is always add your twist on the stories,be provocative,be angry or be happy show your emotions in the post and you will stand out as being more an authority in your niche opposed to a pretender.

So download an app or use google alerts to get your  curation  info to you. Then post it before most people on the web sees it share it, then you will be golden.Just remember nothing will happen  if you do not add your twist to each article.

One last thing I will mention is always keep the content and new information coming in fresh and unique no one will ever download anything from you or join your subscriber list if you do not have anything related to your niche.

  Some famous content curators are Kim Kardashian ,Perez Hilton and Lady Gaga just to name a few. Go have a look at there twitter feed there instagram feed,there youtube channel etc.

  You will notice how each post has a link to an article and once you click on it they make money. What makes this so easy  for them is they have millions of followers so each time they make a post or tweet they are able to reach out to millions .

Lets say for example they have 50 million  subscribers so each post they get maybe 700,000 clicks to there articles that they share .

If you were doing  a pay per click campaignsay for 10 cents a click,if you were Kim,Hilton or Perez you would make  a whopping $70,000 dollars each time you made a post. 
So it can be lucrative to be a content curator if you also do it to extend your reach and increase your overall brand you can also make some extra cash with it.
